Many scholars and writers suffer because they do not receive good guidance. Moreover, academicians and researchers face problems in time management of research activities (Teaching vs. Research), quantity vs. quality of research, and nescience of metrics for ranking. The workshop will help you in writing and publishing with renowned publishers and in high impact journals.
Objectives of the workshop:
- To learn the art of writing, selecting and getting published in international journals.
- To comprehend newly introduced metrics and their place for research performance evaluation at micro and macro levels.
- Each and every section of the research paper (from abstract to conclusion) will be explained with appropriate examples and guidelines in order to strategize a high quality paper for high impact journals.
- It discusses latest software tools and technologies used by researchers to enhance their productivity.
- To manage/ avoid the unhealthy aspects of publishing.
Dr. Nauman Khalid is an HEC approved PhD supervisor and currently serving as Associate Professor in School of Food and Agricultural Sciences UMT Lahore and have adjunct positions at Deakin University Australia, University of Tsukuba Japan and Loughborough University UK. He is also serving as Senior Scientific Panel Member of Punjab Food Authority. His research focuses on Agricultural Nanobiotechnology, majoring food process engineering, target delivery of essential bioactives and agro-based bacterial isolations and processing. He authors and co-authors more than 175 peer reviewed articles in highly reputed Journals with cumulative impact factor of over 400.
