Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) in collaboration with Office of Dean Research is going to organize a workshop on Academic Writing Skills from July 16-20, 2018 (10:00 am to 5:00 pm) at 1C-17, Old Building, UMT. The workshop is designed for the PhD scholars who would like to improve their academic writing skills in order to succeed in studies and in career. This workshop will be conducted to understand the essentials of the academic writing. The essentials includes the understanding of the academic writing style, distinguishing between common types of academic writing, structuring and writing reports and writing literature review. It is organized to provide maximum hands-on practice for participants. Each session will include explanations, examples, exercises, and texts to help the participants develop techniques for working productively at different stages of the scholarly writing process.
